Cheryl DeCooman, CHRL
President

Cheryl founded People Management Group over 22 years ago. Cheryl has offered Human Resources consulting solutions to many companies within a variety of sectors across Southwestern Ontario, including:

Cheryl grew up in rural Oxford County. She is proud to say she has lived in Oxford her whole life and raised her three children here with her husband Kirk. When Cheryl is not working hard to provide solutions to our customers, she enjoys spending time on her boat with her husband Kirk in Long Point, and playing with her granddaughter Zoey.

Courtney Warboys, CHRP  
Human Resources & Consultant

Courtney has been in the Human Resources field for almost 10 years and is a results-focused leader who delivers solutions that help companies harness the full power of their most valuable asset – their people.  She is dedicated to creating corporate cultures that promote continuous learning and growth by helping organizations empower and motivate their employees to realize their full potential.

Courtney began her HR career in the food manufacturing industry and then moved into the not-for-profit sector supporting the community with the delivery of services ranging from employment to health care.   Courtney has the knowledge and expertise to interact with organizations and employees at all levels and has been the go-to person for a variety of HR functions, including:

Courtney graduated from Brock University with a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies and then completed post graduate studies in Human Resources Management at Conestoga College before obtaining her Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.

Courtney loves spending time with her family and friends and hosting get togethers.  She lives in Norfolk County with her spouse and son.  Courtney is a competitive sports player and loves playing baseball.  She grew up in a small rural village in Oxford County and understands the rural roots approach to HR.

Denise

Denise Lynch, CHSC, CRSP
Health and Safety Manager

Denise has been working in the health and safety field for over 15 years. She is passionate about creating and implementing health and safety programs designed to keep everyone in the workplace healthy and safe. Denise works with employers and employees to evaluate the hazards and risks in their workplaces, and develops creative and practical solutions to lower those risks.

Denise began her career in the industrial and manufacturing industry and has since worked in transportation, construction and agriculture across Ontario as well as several other provinces. Over the years, Denise has had the opportunity to work with diverse and challenging work environments and has gained the experience and expertise to build comprehensive safety programs for a variety of businesses.

Throughout her career, Denise has spent much time:

  • Creating and presenting training programs
  • Completing hazard assessments
  • Performing audits
  • Managing WSIB claims
  • Conducting investigations

Denise completed her health and safety education at the University of New Brunswick and has participated in continuing education courses throughout her career. Her accreditations include:

  • Member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers
  • Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC)
  • CRSP designation through the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals

Denise enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Shane and young children, Nathan and Alyssa. They love to spend as much time as possible by their pool during the summer months. Denise’s family also enjoys fishing together, though it often ends with her in a lawn chair reading a book while her husband and son finish up “one more cast”.

Sue D’Ambrosio 
HR and Safety Administrative Assistant

Sue graduated with a Diploma in Information Technology.  For over 20 years she has been providing customer service support in the areas of Human Resources, Information Technology, Training and Development as well as overall administrative support.

Sue resides in Ingersoll with her husband and two children.  She spends a lot of her free time volunteering within the community.

Sue is the first point of contact with our team and looks forward to either assisting you directly or connecting you with a People Management Group team member to meet all your needs.

Due to COVID-19, our office is currently located at 63 Blandford Street, Innerkip, Ontario N0J 1M0 until it is safe to resume at our Woodstock office. Our hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with 24 hour support.
