Cheryl DeCooman, CHRL
President

Cheryl founded People Management Group over 22 years ago. Cheryl has offered Human Resources consulting solutions to many companies within a variety of sectors across Southwestern Ontario, including:

Cheryl grew up in rural Oxford County. She is proud to say she has lived in Oxford her whole life and raised her three children here with her husband Kirk. When Cheryl is not working hard to provide solutions to our customers, she enjoys spending time on her boat with her husband Kirk in Long Point, and playing with her granddaughter Zoey.

Lynda

Lynda Ruffo
Human Resources & Operations Manager

Lynda has been managing and providing leadership in the area of Human Resources for over 35 years. Her areas of specialty include

Lynda graduated from the Human Resources Management program (BA) at Niagara College. She has spent the majority of her career managing Human Resources in the manufacturing sector, for both national and international companies. She has been instrumental in providing employers with innovative solutions to various workplace issues, and has successfully led the employer team on several precedent-setting arbitration cases.

Lynda joined us at PMG after taking an early retirement from Firestone Textiles, Division of Bridgestone Canada Inc., and is now thrilled to be providing solutions to our customers. Lynda resides in Hamilton with her husband, Joe. She enjoys nature photography, stained glass, travel, and spoiling her adorable grandchildren.

Denise

Denise Lynch, CHSC, CRSP
Health and Safety Manager

Denise has been working in the health and safety field for over 15 years. She is passionate about creating and implementing health and safety programs designed to keep everyone in the workplace healthy and safe. Denise works with employers and employees to evaluate the hazards and risks in their workplaces, and develops creative and practical solutions to lower those risks.

Denise began her career in the industrial and manufacturing industry and has since worked in transportation, construction and agriculture across Ontario as well as several other provinces. Over the years, Denise has had the opportunity to work with diverse and challenging work environments and has gained the experience and expertise to build comprehensive safety programs for a variety of businesses.

Throughout her career, Denise has spent much time:

  • Creating and presenting training programs
  • Completing hazard assessments
  • Performing audits
  • Managing WSIB claims
  • Conducting investigations

Denise completed her health and safety education at the University of New Brunswick and has participated in continuing education courses throughout her career. Her accreditations include:

  • Member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers
  • Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC)
  • CRSP designation through the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals

Denise enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Shane and young children, Nathan and Alyssa. They love to spend as much time as possible by their pool during the summer months. Denise’s family also enjoys fishing together, though it often ends with her in a lawn chair reading a book while her husband and son finish up “one more cast”.

Taylor

Taylor Leitch
Customer Liaison & Product Support Specialist

After graduating from the University of Guelph in 2018 with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Taylor went on to complete a post graduate qualification in Marketing through Fanshawe College. Taylor is your “go to person” when it comes to our proprietary software, PDP Behaviour Profiling, and marketing. Taylor lives in Norwich, Ontario and enjoys being with her family at their cottage in Turkey Point.

Kelsey

Kelsey DeCooman
HR and Safety Administrator

Kelsey graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts. Kelsey enjoys spending time at the lake with her family, being active and creating her own jewelry.

Katie

Katie McNeil
HR and Safety Administrator

Katie graduated from Fanshawe College with an Early Childhood Education Diploma. She transitioned after 10 years at a Woodstock not for profit Day Care Centre into the world of HR and Safety Administration. Katie spends her time working on woodwork designs with her husband at Timber.worx, and her world revolves around Remington, her fur baby.

Due to COVID-19, our office is currently located at PO Box 369, Innerkip, Ontario N0J 1M0 until it is safe to resume at our Woodstock office. Our hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with 24 hour support.
