Our client, Ayr Financial Services Inc. | Investment Planning Counsel currently has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant.

General Overview:

As integral part of the administrative team, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Planners and Administrative staff across a range of duties including preparing and processing account related documents, maintaining files, submitting, and tracking applications, providing client support and preparing for client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact clients, answer phone and email inquiries, meet with clients to obtain signatures, verify and process documentation.
  • Prepare client meeting packages, maintain, and organize client files, submit and track account documentation.
  • Maintain CRM, co-ordinate client appointments
  • Provide administrative assistance and backup coverage, as needed

Education and Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum of high school diploma. College diploma in Office Administration or a related field would be preferred.
  • Previous experience in the financial sector or insurance industry would be beneficial.
  • Exceptional administrative experience supporting a professional team
  • Proven ability to take the initiative to quickly learn and grasp new skills in order to perform the administrative function effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Diligence, professionalism, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key.
