Marilyn Harris Joins People Management Group
Inc. to Offer Expanded Human Resource Management Capabilities to London

Cheryl DeCooman has
uncovered a significant trend in Human Resource management in Southwestern
Ontario. As President of People Management Group Inc., she has worked as a
Human Resources advisor to companies of all sizes and in all types of
industries. It has become clear to her that companies are increasingly
recognizing the strategic significance of Human Resources.
“I’ve spent a lot of time
talking to business leaders and human resource professionals throughout
Southwestern Ontario,” says DeCooman. “More and more often, business people
are acknowledging that their employees truly are the most important asset of
their company and they’re investing more in effective programs to recruit,
retain and recognize the people who work for them.”
While more businesses
recognize the long-term strategic value of effective Human Resource

Marilyn Harris, a human
resources professional with over 25 years of progressive experience, has
joined the People Management Group team to assist in the expansion to the
London region. As well as holding senior human resource and general
management positions in both entrepreneurial ventures and Fortune 500
companies, Marilyn has a Certified Human Resources Professional designation
and is a graduate of Fanshawe College.
From its start in Woodstock
only 4 years ago, the company has expanded its portfolio of services from
recruitment and selection to include performance management, organizational
analysis, on-site human resources, outplacement, health and safety programs,
behavioral profiling, pay equity solutions and training. People Management
