Cheryl DeCooman has uncovered
a significant trend in Human Resource management in Southwestern Ontario. As
President of People Management Group Inc., she has worked as a Human
Resources advisor to companies of all sizes and in all types of industries.
It has become clear to her that companies are increasingly recognizing the
strategic significance of Integrated Human Resources.
“I've spent a lot of time
talking to business leaders and human resource professionals throughout the
region,” says DeCooman. “More and more often, business people are

recruitment & selection tool. The site functions like other job search
sites employers can sort through pre-screened candidates and candidates can
access local job postings. But PeopleQuest.ca is more than a one-time
matchmaker, says President Cheryl DeCooman. “It's really for forward
thinking companies that are always looking for the right people,” she says.
“It's a proactive online recruiting site for employers.” The site also
includes job search tips and a variety of resources for both candidates and
employers.
For job hunters it's a chance
to stand out where it often matters most a local setting. Detailed company
profiles help candidates understand a company's business, desired
skill-sets, and company culture. Employers like it too because they can
attract great local candidates even if they don't have applicable jobs
posted. And the reduced volume of applicants enables them to respond more
effectively.
The site will launch in
November for a pilot phase that will ramp up traffic and registration levels
through the fall.
