When we moved our office to Woodstock PMG was able to recruit and hire 26 of our hires. We use PMG as a trusted HR advisor to our Senior Management Team.

Cheryl DeCooman, CHRL

President


Cheryl founded People Management Group over 22 years ago. Cheryl has offered Human Resources consulting solutions to many companies within a variety of sectors across Southwestern Ontario. These sectors include: Agriculture (Producers and Suppliers), Wholesale and Distribution, Retail (Buying Groups and Franchises), Manufacturing and Professional Services. Some of these services include: Onsite HR, Recruitment by the Hour, HR Policies and Procedures, Training and Development, Leadership Assessments, Behavioral Profiling (PDP), Health and Safety, Expert HR Advice and Virtual HR Solutions. Cheryl grew up in rural Oxford County and is proud to say she has lived in Oxford her whole life and raised her three children here with her husband Kirk. When Cheryl is not working hard to provide solutions to our clients, she enjoys spending time on her boat with her husband Kirk in Long Point and playing with her granddaughter Zoey.

Lynda Ruffo

Operations Manager


Lynda has been managing and providing leadership in the area of Human Resources for over 25 years. Her areas of specialty include employee and labour relations, compensation and benefits design and administration, compliance and regulation, accommodation and return to work, accessibility, workplace violence and harassment, investigations, organizational design and retirement plans. Lynda graduated from the 3 yr. Human Resources Management program (BA) at Niagara College, and has spent the majority of her career managing Human Resources in the manufacturing sector, for both national and international companies. She has been instrumental in providing Employers with innovative solutions to various workplace issues, and has successfully led the employer team on several precedent setting arbitration cases. She comes to People Management Group after taking an early retirement from Firestone Textiles, Division of Bridgestone Canada Inc. , and is now thrilled to be providing solutions to our clients. Lynda resides in Hamilton with her husband, Joe. When not providing solutions for our clients, she enjoys nature photography, stained glass, travel, and spoiling her adorable grandchildren.

Denise Lynch, CHSC, CRSP

Health and Safety Manager


Denise has been working in the health and safety field for over 15 years. Denise is passionate about creating and implementing health and safety programs designed to keep everyone in the workplace healthy and safe. She works with employers and employees to evaluate the hazards and risks in their workplaces and develops creative and practical solutions to lower those risks. Denise began her career in the industrial and manufacturing industry and has since worked in transportation, construction and agriculture across Ontario as well as several other provinces. Over the years, Denise has had the opportunity to work with diverse and challenging work environments and has gained the experience and expertise to build comprehensive safety programs for a variety of businesses. Throughout her career, Denise has spent time creating and presenting training programs, completing hazard assessments, performing audits, managing WSIB claims and conducting investigations. Denise completed her health and safety education at the University of New Brunswick and has participated in continuing education courses throughout her career. Denise is a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers and is a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC). Denise also holds a CRSP designation through the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals. When Denise is not finding solutions for our clients, you can find her spending time outdoors with her husband Shane and young children, Nathan and Alyssa. They love to spend as much time as possible by their pool during the summer months. Denise’s family also enjoys fishing together, though it often ends with her in a lawn chair reading a book while her husband and son finish up “one more cast”.

Taylor Leitch

Client Support Advisor


After graduating from the University of Guelph in 2018 with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Taylor went on to complete a post graduate in Marketing through Fanshawe College. Taylor is your go to person when it comes to our proprietary software, PDP Behaviour Profiling and Marketing. Taylor lives in Norwich, Ontario. When she is not providing solutions for our clients, she enjoys being with her family at their cottage in Turkey Point.

Kelsey graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts. Kelsey enjoys spending time at the lake with her family, being active and creating her own jewelry.
